Youth Introduction to Pickleball

60 US dollars
Brooklyn, NY

Service Description

Designed specifically for children 13 and younger, our Youth Introduction to Pickleball sessions in Brooklyn offer a safe, energetic environment for kids to learn the fundamentals of this fast-growing sport. At Collaboration ENY, we believe that early exposure to sports is a powerful tool for youth empowerment in East New York. In these beginner-friendly clinics, patient coaches introduce the basics of the game—from properly holding the paddle to understanding the rules—ensuring that every child feels supported, regardless of their prior athletic experience. It is a welcoming space where early nerves quickly turn into laughter, high-fives, and a genuine love for active play. Beyond just learning how to rally, this introductory program emphasizes youth development, teamwork, and grassroots values. As kids engage in fun, interactive drills, they are also building essential life skills like communication, patience, and mutual respect. These community pickleball sessions serve as a stepping stone for young residents of Brooklyn to build lasting friendships and a strong sense of belonging. By stepping onto the court, our youngest community members take their first swings at becoming confident team players and future leaders, proving that meaningful community connection can start with a simple, joyful game of pickleball.
